Graduate Student Academic Positions
General Requirements
Students enrolled in or applying for admission to graduate degree programs on the Bloomington campus are eligible to apply for graduate assistant or associate instructor positions with the AAAI. Positions are available for the 2023-2024 academic year, August through May, and are renewable for up to three years. Compensation includes a monthly stipend, fee remission, and health insurance benefits paid by the univeristy. Acceptance for admission to the university must be confimed before appointments are awarded. All apllicants must complete a FAFSA form, which may be accessed at IU's Student Central website.

Hourly Student Positions
Hourly student positions offer financial support and work experience in instructional support, event management, marketing, media, and technical areas of the performing arts. Employment opportunities are open to undergraduate and graduate students seeking degrees on the Bloomington campus. All partcicipants are encouraged to complete a FAFSA form, which may be accessed at IU's Student Central website.
Photographer: Shoots photos of AAAI performances and events; processes photos for various marketing and promotional uses; high level photography skills necessary; must own or have access to professional quality photographic equipment; previous performance photography experience desirable; previous experience photographing the full range of skin tones desirable.
Videographer: Shoots videos of AAAI performances and events; edits videos for various marketing and promotional uses; high level videography skills necessary; previous performance videography experience desirable; previous experience shooting the full range of skin tones desirable.
