The African American Arts Institute (AAAI) announces graduate and undergraduate student employment. Positions with the AAAI offer financial aid and work experience in instructional, marketing, road management, media design, and audio technical areas of the performing arts. Employment opportunities are open to full-time students seeking degrees at Indiana University Bloomington. The AAAI puts no restrictions on the academic majors in which its student employees may choose to enroll.
Potential new students may apply for employment; however, acceptance for admission to the university must be confirmed before appointments are awarded. All applicants must complete a FAFSA form, which may be accessed at IU’s Student Central website.
Students enrolled in or applying for admission to graduate degree programs on the Bloomington campus are eligible to apply for graduate assistant or associate instructor position with the AAAI. Positions are for the academic year, August through May, and are renewable for up to two years. Compensation includes a monthly stipend, fee remission, and health insurance benefits paid by the university. See health insurance information here.
